Finale Proficiency Requirements
For our Finale project, you need to show proficiency with the following tasks:
* Simple note entry
* triplets, whole notes through 16th notes
* dotted rhythms and rests
* articulations (slurs, staccato, accents, etc.)
* Add instruments from setup wizard
* Work with different transpositions
* Add tempo markings, key signature changes, clef changes,
* time signature changes, repeats, double and final bars.
* Adding text - titles, composer, etc.
* Adding expressions and dynamics (crescendos, mf, etc.)
* Adding lyrics
* Export and format parts
* Add music in different layers on a staff (chorale style)
* Export music as a graphic into Microsoft Word
* Export selection from music as a graphic and post on blog
After exporting a section of your Finale file as an image, create a new blog post and attach the following:
1. Attach the image within the blog post
2. Attach the Word file with the image embedded
3. Attach your Finale file
